Breaking free from social norms and expectations is a recurring theme in my artwork, and this piece is another reflection of that journey.
I found it almost impossible to be completely free, free to the point where I don't even think about those expectations. But maybe that's not the goal. Maybe the goal isn't total escape, but awareness. Awareness of how these pressures shape us, and the courage to not let them control our choices.
Maybe the goal is to be a naughty prisoner, you see? :)
